Great Lakes Spirit Championships uses a team of experienced judges to score Skills, Motions/Dance, Choreography, and Execution. Additionally, at least one judge is assigned to score safety and legality so that all teams strictly follow safe performance practices and guidelines.

Teams/Performers will be judged according to the following score sheets.
