GLCC in cooperation with gyms local to its events are working hard to foster community service in the cities we host events in. In 2007 GLCC collected over 4000 toys at its Santa’s Championship for the US Marines, Toys for Tots program. In 2008 gyms such as the All Star Gemz in Michigan donated over 1000 toys alone! |

| December 13th, 2009 , GLCC is working with Mid Michigan Gemz Cheerleading in Birch Run MI to collect toys for the US Marines, Toys for Tots program in the Mid Michigan area. Mid Michigan Gemz is running a special charity event the day after Santa’s Championship at the Birch Run Expo Center. GLCC is urging every athlete and dancer attending the Santa’s Championship to bring a toy with a value of $10 or greater to donate. You are also welcome to exhibition at the charity event the following day. The US Marines will be on hand at the event to cheer on the competitors and collect toys as we show how the Michigan rocks when it comes to community service! |

| GLCC in partnership with the JAM Brands and all the teams that attended the Very Scary Championship raised over $6,000 to support the Susan G. Komen foundation and their efforts to find a cure for Breast Cancer. Congratulations to everyone who help support this cause that affects so many people. |

| February 1st, 2009 GLCC is worked with American Elite Allstars of Ohio and various sponsors such as National City Bank and Akron’s Children’s Hospital to collect books and funds for Reach out and Read, a charity dedicated to helping improve reading in the Akron OH Area. GLCC provided logistical support and equipment to enable the fundraising efforts for Read out and Read grow at the John S Knight Center in Akron. |

| December 6th, 2009 , GLCC is working with Spirit Elite Cheerleading in St Louis to collect toys for the US Marines, Toys for Tots program in the St Louis area. Spirit Elite is working with the community and local sposors to make this a huge success. GLCC is urging every athlete and dancer attending the Reindeer Championship to bring a toy with a value of $10 or greater to donate. The US Marines will be on hand at the event to cheer on the competitors and collect toys as we show how the St Louis rocks when it comes to community service! |
