After all the hard work preparing to compete everyone deserves something for the effort.  Instead of giving away huge cash awards that only a few teams enjoy, we want every athlete to go away with meaningful recognition for their accomplishments.

Top Dawg Performance Banners
Our judges are always on the lookout for something that really catches their eye.  GLCC at its discretion awards banners to teams based on the recommendation of the judges.  Our judges are looking for everything from exceptional choreography to great tumbling passes, clean routines to something that all they can say is "WOW!".

Plus we will award the third annual ultimate TOP DAWG award to the top scoring teams in every Cheer and Dance USASF division.  After every event we will update the top ten scores in each division for all teams that have competed with us throughout the season. At the end of the season the Top Dawgs will receive a specially designed banner for their gym and the top ten teams in each division will receive recognition awards and other materials that will help them market their gym as one of the top programs in the country! SPIRIT INNOVATIONS - TOP DAWG Session Spirit Awards
We expect to see lots of participation by everyone at our events. Each event is themed differently from holiday appropriate themes to just plain old fun like Wild Wild West or Yeah for Hollywood! We want to see every parent, athlete and dancer decked out in their best theme gear or just showing their best spirit.  At every session awards ceremony our TOP DAWG Mascot will greet the most spirited team of the session and each of their supporters in the GLCC DAWG POUND and award them the Top Dawg Spirit  Award sponsored by Spirit Innovations.  In addition to the cutest trophy in the cheer & dance industry, Spirit Innovations will give a gift certificate that can be used by your organization to purchase SI gear for their organization.

To make sure your organization is fired up we will choose the most spirited of all teams at the end of the day and award  25 make-up kits from Bling Spirit Makeup to the winning organization!!! 

Worlds Bids
Nothing will help your program more than to be recognized as one of the best in the World!   We have joined the USASF to allow the best teams that compete at our Grand Nationals in Detroit a chance to compete for a world title at the Cheerleading & Dance Worlds in Orlando, April 2009. 13 total bids including 2 FULL PAID bids for Cheerleading Worlds and 1 Partial Paid Bid to Dance Worlds will be awarded!

Spectator Participation Awards

GLCC events are truly interactive!
Whenever there is a break in the performances we make sure there is something going on involving the fans and athletes!  We will be giving out cash prizes, gift certificates, and opportunities to shop in our merchandise store at each event to unsuspecting volunteers who participate in our Wild –Crazy-Fun games on stage.
